Brokeback banned in China.

It's happened again but this time, an entire country has banned screenings of Brokeback Mountain. It's quite worrying just how retrogressive large parts of the world are when it comes to topics like homosexuality. But then, homophobia isn't just the preserve of countries like China or Singapore, it's everywhere. It will be a long, long time before it's no longer an issue - if ever.

The people will suffer because I saw it last night and was so pleased with what I saw.

I cried, but was pleased.
