Lucky buggers.

Some lucky buggers in America have already received their copy of Mac OS X v10.4 'Tiger', a whole week before the official release date. These people had pre-ordered the OS from the online Apple Store and for some reason Apple saw fit to ship it to them early. To make matters worse for me, on the US site, it states that if you pre-order Tiger now, you will receive it on or before the 29th. Yet on the UK site it says pre-order now for shipping on the 29th. This means that since it takes two working days for delivery and the monday after is a bank holiday, I probably won't get it until at least tuesday, probably wednesday!

Yet again, Apple fails to honour it's dedicated fans in the UK. Although, Apple are, on the 29th, opening their second Apple Retail store in Birmingham's Bull Ring shopping centre, so I could go there to pick up a copy. Then again, maybe not.
