Quatermass.

Last night the BBC showed a re-make of the 1953 televison series The Quatermass Experiment on BBC FOUR as part of the TV on Trial season. In keeping with the original, it was broadcast live and I have to say they did a darn good job of it! It must be extremely difficult to produce a two hour drama live - so much preparation. Bar a few forgotten lines and tripping over of props, the whole thing was executed very well. It was the first time the BBC had done anything like this in twenty years and I for one hope we don't have to wait another twenty years to see something like this from the BBC again.
