Rotten Apple.

I'm really pissed with Apple at the moment. Tiger is due to be released this friday 29th April and, you know me, I pre-ordered it from the Apple online store. Only thing is, on the American site, Apple is promising all those who pre-order will receive their copy on the 29th. Where as in the UK, it will only be dispatched on the 29th - and with an estimated delivery time of two to three working days that means I won't get it until at least tuesday (due to the bank holiday), more likely wednesday!

I thought the whole point of pre-ordering was you got a priority service. Yet the stupid arrangements in the UK mean that I could wander into PC World on saturday and pick up a copy there and then - a whole five days before my pre-ordered copy arrives from Apple! Of course, as a loyal Apple fan, I wouldn't dare walk into a PC World (if I did I'd have to scrub myself with wire wool afterwards) but when Apple seem able to deliver copies to every single person who pre-ordered in the US on the 29th, I don't see why they can't do the same in li'll ol' Blighty.

I have four days off this bank holiday weekend and I was planning on exploring all that Tiger has to offer. Now it looks as though I'm just going to have to do some revison (exams soon - Aarrgh!). At least I'm off next wednesday when it will probably turn up.
