The Macworld countdown starts here.

It's only one week until Steve gives his keynote speech at the Macworld Conference & Expo. If the rumours are true, we will see new iBooks built around the first Intel chips to be used by Apple and possibly new Mac minis with the same. We could also expect an updated version of Front Row in the iMacs and now the Mac mini with an innovative content distribution system that would offer digital media to users through the .Mac service. Macworld could also see the launch of a smaller and more colourful iPod shuffle.

Also expect to see iLife '06 with possible enhancements to iPhoto and perhaps the inclusion of Front Row. iWork '06 may be announced, with general enhancements to Pages and Keynote and the long-awaited addition of a spreadsheed program, possibly called Tables.

I'll be back on the 10th to see if any of my predictions are right. Chances are they're complete balderdash and piffle, but we'll see!
