Doctor doctor...
Well, I finally got round to watching the first episode of Doctor Who I recorded on saturday and I have to say, I was quite impressed. It was fast paced, lively and Christopher Eccleston was great as the doctor. The story was, as is required for Doctor Who, mad. The special effects were good, but not great and the filming was top-notch. It certainly gave the program an unearthly quality, slightly removed from reality and just a little bit disturbing! I can't wait for episode six when the Daleks show up. Apparently they have a secret new power (they can float), but it's top-secret!
Overall, 9/10. The boyfriend got right on my nerves. Let's just say that when he was swallowed by the wheelie-bin I cheered and when he later showed up alive, I was a little disappointed!
